Interscan Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd. was incorporated in September 1994 by late Mr. Lal Ranasinghe who served the company as the Managing Director until his demise in early 2000. Main focus of the company is to serve the industry with quality products and exceptional services in industry, process automation, data manipulation and related technologies
Interscan specializes in data capture, storage and transmission and associated services. It is a pioneer in barcode technology in Sri Lanka and represents Metrologic Instruments Inc. and Sato America Inc of USA, the world’s leading companies in Barcode technology. The product line includes barcode readers for PC and terminal based systems, portable terminals, data collection terminals, barcode printers and barcode printing software.
Interscan undertakes designing of systems incorporating all hardware, software, installation and management in the areas of remote sensing, access control, wireless communication, automation,barcode and biometric solutions, CCTV, security protocols and devices, application software, custom programming, EAN/ UPC numbering and provides consultancy services. It also undertakes design and printing of barcode and other labels, tags and similar items.
